At Kirungi Child Orphanage, we are facing a critical challenge that we urgently need your help to overcome. For far too long, our children have been experiencing hunger and thirst on a daily basis. Imagine going to bed with an empty stomach, knowing that there may not be enough food to eat tomorrow. This heartbreaking reality is one that our children have been enduring for far too long.

Due to limited resources and a lack of land for farming, we have struggled to provide consistent meals for our children. Many days pass where our children only eat once every two days, and the uncertainty of when their next meal will come weighs heavily on their minds. Despite our best efforts, the shortage of food has caused some of our children to lose hope, questioning whether God cares about them or if there are people out there who care about their well-being since they don’t even have parents.

But there is hope, and that hope lies within each and every one of you. With your support, no matter how small, we can make a profound difference in the lives of these vulnerable children. Even a modest donation, whether it’s a small amount each month or week, can have a significant impact on providing nutritious meals for our children and restoring their hope for a brighter future.

We believe in transparency and accountability in all that we do. That’s why we make it a priority to take photos of the children holding papers with the names of our generous donors, showing exactly where their support goes – directly to the nourishment and well-being of these precious children.

But our need for support doesn’t end with food. Access to clean water is also a pressing issue that we are determined to address. We have plans to build a borehole that will provide fresh water from underground, ensuring that our children have access to safe and clean drinking water. However, we cannot do this alone.
